SAAQ Service Disruption
SAAQ (Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec), the government agency responsible for running MVR service/Driver’s Abstracts out of Quebec has informed us that there will be a temporary service disruption starting January the 26th until February the 17th.
SAAQ has undertaken this technical transformation project which will result in the shutdown of their existing systems (which they are phasing out and migrating to a new technical platform).
Please note SAAQ services will be completely down during this period.
What this means for you:
• Jan 24th: Last day to submit any Quebec MVR/Driver’s Abstract requests
• Jan 26th to Feb 17th: MVRs/Driver’s Abstracts will be unavailable for Quebec.
• Feb 18th and onwards: SAAQ to establish new process
We apologize for any inconvenience this disruption may cause and want to assure you we are actively working with all stakeholders to resume this service as soon as possible.
